Marianne MortimerFinancial Restructuring, Stradling
Marianne S. Mortimer is a shareholder in Stradling's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice group. Marianne has a broad range of experience advising clients on a variety of commercial, bankruptcy, restructuring, financing and acquisition matters. She has represented corporate and municipal clients, including institutional lenders and banks, hedge funds, private equity funds and cities in various capacities, including as debtors, creditors, secured lenders and official and ad hoc creditor companies in chapter 7, 9, and 11 cases throughout the country.

Tom WaldmanMergers & Acquisitions, Stradling
Tom Waldman is a shareholder in Stradling’s Corporate practice group. Tom’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, especially private equity transactions, and providing strategic legal advice to corporate clients and investors in alternative assets. Prior to joining Stradling, he served as Managing Director, Legal for The Gores Group, LLC, a private equity fund headquartered in Los Angeles, representing Gores funds and their portfolio companies in platform and add-on investments, portfolio company legal matters and exit transactions.

Alex Stevenson - Managing Director, Lincoln
For 22 years, Alex has advised companies, creditors and other stakeholders in varied distressed and special situations involving approximately $80 billion of financial obligations. He has comprehensive experience in special situations driven by overall economic conditions, capital market trends, sector disruptions or situation-specific factors such as poor management, customer loss and commodity prices. He drives consensual resolution of these complex issues for his clients. In addition, Alex leverages extensive lender relationships to deliver strategic, bespoke financing alternatives for clients requiring structured or specialized financing solutions.

Sherman Guillema - Director, Lincoln
Sherman provides advisory services to companies and stakeholders of companies facing capital structure issues driven by unfavorable economic conditions, secular shifts in an industry, operational disruptions and other company-specific challenges. He draws from over 10 years of experience advising and investing in distressed businesses to provide a unique perspective in identifying, structuring and implementing creative solutions tailored for each client. Sherman advises on private placements of equity and structured/stretch debt financings, liability management transactions and distressed mergers and acquisitions effectuated through both in- and out-of-court processes. His engagements are on behalf of financial sponsors, shareholders of private and publicly-held companies, lender groups, official committees and ad-hoc committees.
